Just puttin' it out there...

I'm no fashionista, but I do idolize Stacey and Clinton ;)

Just a couple of things I'm just gonna put out there regarding some fashion no-no's. If you have more to add, please comment below!

1. If you can see your belt loops of your pants, you should be wearing a belt. It makes you look clean and polished. (just as long as the belt is nice!). There's just something about visible, empty belt loops that makes it look like you forgot something. I got this tip from a friend in the military. He was a victim of the don't ask don't tell policy, so I won't name names. But a big thank you goes out to him ;)

2. Unless you're wearing capris, a skirt, or shorts, your pants have to be long enough. If you're wearing heels, the bottom of your pants should come about halfway down the heel. So if your heels are 3 inches, your pants should be at about 1 1/2 inches down the heel. You can even go a little lower to make it look even sleeker. Guys, this counts for you, too. Your pants should cover come down about halfway down the back of your shoes. All these measurements are while standing. No high waters, okay?

3. Pantyhose are out. If you're insecure with your legs like I am, but feel the need to wear a skirt or dress, wear tights with them. They come in all sorts of colors, lengths, and opaqueness. If you're just real pale or your skin tone is a little uneven on your legs, use a gradual sunless tanner. The gradual ones are best, they are very forgiving. You just have to plan ahead and use it for a few days in advance.

Okay, that's all. Just lookin' out!
