That's the headline on CNN this morning. Here's the link: http://www.cnn.com/2010/WORLD/americas/07/12/cuba.castro.appearance/index.html?video=true&hpt=T2
I just had to share my first reaction. When I read that headline, I actually said out loud, "of course he does." That made me realize I've said that to a lot of headlines lately. Wondering I'm being cynical? Or just fed up with negativity in the world.
Here are some other recent examples of headlines where I said, "of course ___ did"...or "of course ___ is", "duh", "riiight"...or "well, yeah...". You can decide if it's just that I'm cynical - or perhaps that they speak for themselves and are no longer surprising.
"Palin move draws attack"
"NAACP to condemn Tea Party racism"
"Consumer Reports nixes iPhone 4"
"Flip flops bad for feet"
"Swiss set Polanski free"
"7 year old boat driver kills mom"
"Judge finds gay marriage ban unconstitutional"
"Oyster population decimated by oil"
"Man blows hand off in fireworks accident"
(all headlines from cnn.com)
Okay, that was my randomness for the day. Sometimes I wonder.... :)
